Building a wood-fired pizza Oven

This pizza oven slideshow was produced to help and encourage all of those who need what ever help they can get in pizza oven building and design. It was built from fire brick and has an internal diameter of 1100mm. The mortar is all Shinagawa recratory mortar. The dome is covered in 3 layers of insulative blanket chicken wire and 10cm(4 inches) of a 5 to 1 vermiculite cement mix. Even though “she” needs to be made beautiful on the outside she works beautifully on the inside. Many thanks to and the many generous souls who have shared their creations with the world.
